Shenoa T. Carter (Gibson)
Check out the amazing update that we received from the recently married Minister Shenoa T. Carter (Gibson).
“Since becoming a Minister, I lead a prayer ministry called Dare Two Pray (Matthew 18:20). It has become a staple in the week for many of those in need of prayer and a word from our Lord Jesus Christ. Many testimonies have come from the fervent prayers sent to Heaven week over week. A few of those testimonies were featured in Music Lov3rz Magazine- a global Christian publication.
This ministry has inspired me to keep going strong in the faith and watch God move in my life and the life of others. I am striving to fulfill the purpose God has given me and believe that nothing is impossible to those who believe!
I have seen so many things that God has done and I am so excited that this platform allows us to share and to experience God in ways unimaginable.”
Congratulations on an amazing ministry, Shenoa! We are so proud of you for listening to God’s call on your life to serve others through prayer. We believe that there is power in prayer! We cannot wait to hear about more astounding ways that your ministry touches the lives of others.
Also, congratulations on your recent marriage! The CGOM family wishes blessings upon a Christ-centered marriage between you and your new husband. Thanks for sharing!
Minister Scott Halstead
Next, we have a ministry update from Minister Scott Halstead. Scott’s ministry serves homeless people that are in need of some extra love and support. His creative ministry idea involves making handmade care packages full of essential items specifically for the homeless people in his community.
“We have been working with our home church [to reach] out to the homeless. [Our ministry includes] giving out blessing bags [and] socks, gloves, coats, [and] toboggans. The Men’s Ministry group checking on the [people who are} shut in through these perilous times.”
Minister Halstead, your heart for others is incredible. You truly are a servant of the Lord that He can rely on to say “yes” to big tasks! Keep up the good work. We look forward to hearing all of the transformation stories to come in the future through your ministry!
Minister Ted Hohenstein
“My son and [his wife] had to set their date 3 times due to Covid. The wedding was in Colorado and most of my family is from IL. No one wanted to travel, so we went ahead with small wedding with her family and their friends and the bride was beautiful. I also wrote and sang a song. Again, thank you so much! In Christ, Minister Hohenstein “
Congratulations to the beautiful new couple! Well done, Ted! We know that this was a very unique and special moment for you and your family. Thanks for letting us be a part!
Minister Elvira Ngosa Luswili Muleya
Next, let’s take a look at an encouraging update from Minister Elvira Ngosa Luswili Muleya:
“I am very encouraged to serve in ministry of children under your [CGOM]. [These photos feature the] Sunday School children whom I support every month in form of money donation for the Church to pay [for] rent and supplies. Thank you [to] Christian Global Outreach for your support as I continue to answer to the call of Matthew 28:19.”
We admire your positive attitude, Minister Muleya! Your bright light for Jesus clearly shines through this photo and it is so inspiring! We pray that these wonderful children will have ears to listen and hearts to love the Lord that you are diligently teaching them about. We look forward to hearing from you again soon – please send more photos of these adorable smiling faces!
Minister Allen Filson
Hear from Minister Filson about the Men’s Retreat he recently conducted:
“Leading this group of men to be more committed to God was an amazing experience. We spent 4 days together and by the end of the retreat, not only were lives changed, but long-lasting friendships were made as well. We dug deep into recapturing the masculine heart and discovering [our] place as Christian men in today’s society.”
Wow, what an update! The broken world that we live in has skewed biblical ideas. We admire your effort to redefine those ideas based on God’s standards. Congratulations on a successful retreat, Minister Filson! Continue to seek God’s voice boldly.
