Plans are to start a church. We have also have been doing tent revivals the past few years. Melvin is also involved in helping someone in prison. He got his ordination so he could get into the prison. Now he feels led to start a church. We have a building in the city with a large room that he felt led to use for the church.

Greetings to all,

I am Minister Mike Kinney and I was a guest Minister preaching recently  at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Richmond, California. I preached about the significance of Faith and what is faith from 1 Peter 1. My theme at the pulpit was: How to live an authentic Christ centered Faith in midst of some difficult times, we live in. My sermon was very will received by the congregation; praise be to God.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

On May 20th, I had the distinct blessing of leading the marriage ceremony of my granddaughter Molly to Cody . Mr. and Mrs. Landon are now on their way to spend a week at a cabin in the woods of Maine. God gave me the great joy of being able to bring forth His Word that upholds the sanctity of marriage and the joys, devotion, and responsibilities that are lifelong ingredients. It was so encouraging to see the people there, especially the younger age groups, be taken and held by the truth of God’s Word.

I thank God for the opportunity to be used by him to bring forth His Word of the truth of love and salvation.
